Champify is officially SOC 2 Type 2 Certified
We’re thrilled to announce that Champify has achieved SOC 2 Type 2 certification! In short, this means that we've successfully completed an independent audit of our security controls and procedures and that we meet the highest standards for protecting our customers' data.
Why is this important?
High value relationships with your customers are critical to your business (and not just as a channel to generate future pipeline). The data you share around those relationships is sacred—and this certification provides peace of mind around how we will treat it. With SOC 2 compliance, we demonstrate our commitment to building an enterprise grade and trusted platform that any company can build and rely on.
This is why we prioritized independent audits of our strict compliance and security controls even before our initial product launch. Pre-launch we met SOC 2 Type 1 compliance requirements per an independent auditor in late July.
What is SOC 2 Type 2 Compliance?
SOC 2 Compliance is a globally recognized standard that specifies how customers should manage customer data. It ensures that a company is adhering to best practices and technical standards across security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 certification is a complex and rigorous process. Our team was observed by a highly respected cybersecurity and audit firm over a period of several months.
This is the main reason why Type 2 compliance is particularly hard to achieve. Type 1 compliance is a snapshot of controls at a certain point in time; Type 2 compliance proves that you follow these controls over an extended period of time.
To achieve this certification, we had to show that Champify:
- Meets strict requirements related to data protection and storage
- Implements extensive security measures for our employees and contractors
- Adheres to strict SLAs regarding high-severity security issues in our infrastructure
- Follows protocols governing access to our systems

While we’re proud of this certification, we’re not stopping here—this isn’t just a one-time thing. We'll continue to reinforce our commitment to strong data protections and privacy requirements as we grow.
